To celebrate that time-honored institution of excess, sunburn and shenanigans – Spring Break! – JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program is offering new members who sign up, book a flight and fly by April 30, 2014, 5,000 bonus points.

spring-breakTo sign up and register, here’s what you do.

  1. Fill out the form on this page to join TrueBlue and register for this promotion
  2. Book your flight (new bookings only)
  3. Fly by April 30, 2014

This offer is only valid for new members, and you can fly either roundtrip or one-way. You must enroll and register for this bonus prior to booking, and it’s valid only on new bookings, not existing ones – so even if you already bought a flight but were not a TrueBlue member and signed up with this promo, it won’t count. You must book the flight after enrolling and registering. This must be on a paid ticket and on JetBlue itself – no partners or interlines. If you change your reservation so that it doesn’t fall within the promo period, you won’t earn the bonus points.

You can redeem TrueBlue points for about 1.3 cents apiece, so 5,000 points is worth about $65 in airfare. Not bad, especially if you can find a cheap fare you were were going to fly anyway!
