As I mentioned earlier this year, Hilton has been running a promotion that awards travelers double points for qualified hotel stays. The promo allows you to choose whether you want to earn double HHonors points or double airline miles with your preferred airline.
There were two caveats to the promotion, though: It was only available at participating properties, and you had to check out of your stay by May 31 of this year in order to earn the bonus points.
Well, I just received some great news. Since it’s been such a hit with members, Hilton has decided to extend the promotion through August 31. Even better news: ALL of the chain’s 4,300+ hotels will be participating in this promotion.
The HHonors.com/Double site has been updated to reflect these changes, and if you have already registered for the promotion, you don’t need to register again.
Just a reminder: There were several other easy Hilton HHonors promos worth looking into earlier this year, as well, so if you participated you should check (and let us know in the comments below) if your points posted. Up until March, Hilton was offering 1,000 HHonors points to all members simply for updating their online passwords. If you haven’t received your bonus points yet, keep an eye on your account, because it doesn’t get much easier than that. Also, Hilton had a targeted promo for certain elite members, offering 100,000 HHonors points simply for logging in. You may not have been eligible for the offer, but if you were, we’d love to hear if you got your points
Other Ways to Earn
If you’re looking to boost your points balance, you can transfer from American Express Membership Rewards or Citi ThankYou at a 1:1.5 ratio, but you’ll generally get more value out of transferring to other partners instead.
