Earlier this week, we announced that in celebration of 5 years of The Points Guy, we’re really blowing out this week’s giveaway with a whopping $5,000 in prizes available, including opportunities to earn miles in my favorite domestic frequent-flyer program.

Perhaps my favorite TPG event was our TPG TO GO App launch in Los Angeles in October 2014

Here’s what we were giving away this week:

  • 150,000 American AAdvantage miles
  • Four (4) $500 American Airlines gift cards
  • Five (5) pairs of tickets to next week’s amfAR afterparty in NYC

Congratulations to Emily Y. who won the 150,000 American AAdvantage miles by commenting with her favorite travel tip:

Used American Airline miles to redeem for award flight on Cathy Pacific and Japan Airlines to Southeast Asia and Japan thru searching on the British Airways website. I just booked myself a trip to Bali and Japan by using that tip, saved tons of miles and time!! :)

Congrats, too, to Paul K., Ronald R., Beatrice M. and Charles R., who each won a $500 American Airlines gift card for entering on Facebook.

And lastly, big congrats to Brad P., Nancy P., Ryan O., Jonathan H. and Ryan E.,  who each won a pairs of tickets to next week’s amfAR afterparty in NYC. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Again, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you all for being part of this exciting five-year journey with me. I couldn’t have done any of this without you, my loyal readers. Your support truly means the world to me.
