Emirates’ New Long-Haul Economy Blankets Are Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles
Emirates has introduced a new blanket for its long-haul economy class passengers. Known as ecoTHREAD, the blankets are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and will have saved about 88 million plastic bottles from landfills by the end of 2019.

Priority Pass Welcomes 13 New Lounges

Get a 20% Discount When You Book Domestic Japan Airlines Flights with AAdvantage Miles
You can receive a 20% discount on intra-Japan award flights on JAL when you book using AAdvantage miles. You have to book your flights and travel between January 30 and April 30, 2017 in order to take advantage. Note that upon checkout you have to use the following codes to get the discount:

Emirates Selling Access to Dubai Lounges
You can now purchase one-time access to Emirates’ first and business-class lounges in Dubai (DXB). Access is open to any SkyWard Blue member, regardless of class of travel. If you’re a non-elite member you can purchase access to the business-class lounge for $100 or the first-class lounge for $200. If you’re a Silver or Gold elite member, you can bring a guest into the business lounge for $100, or you can pay $100 to visit the first-class lounge if you already have access to the biz lounge.
