To celebrate Restaurant Week in New York City this year, Amex is offering cardholders some cash back on their in-restaurant meals. With the Amex Offer, you can dine at more than 350 participating restaurants and get a $5 statement credit after you spend $35 or more in a single transaction between January 23 and February 10, 2017. You can earn a maximum of four $5 statement credits per card for the duration of the Restaurant Week promotion — $20 in statement credits per card.
To register your Amex card(s) for the promotion, visit the enrollment page on the Amex website. You must register each of your Amex cards in order for them to be eligible, and the more cards you register, the more you’ll be able to take advantage of the $5 statement credits. You can enroll your card now, but keep in mind that it must be enrolled before you get the credits.
Interested in taking advantage but not sure where to go? Visit this page to see a full list of participating restaurants. One of the best parts about this promotion is that all Amex credit cards are eligible, such as the Premier Rewards Gold Card and the Amex Platinum — so the more cards you register, the more opportunities you’ll have to earn that valuable statement credit. Keep in mind that the bill must be more than $35 in order for it to be eligible. This also creates a unique opportunity if you’re dining out with friends — split the bill into $35 increments, offer to pay for it and have your friends pay you back!
