Hilton is introducing three new Amex cards on Thursday — including the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card, which we posted about back in November when the details were first announced.
Now, the card’s open for applicants — and we have details on the sign-up bonus. You’ll earn 75,000 points for meeting the first minimum spending tier of $3,000 in the first three months. Then, you can earn another 25,000 points by spending an additional $1,000 within the first six months of your account opening.
The Hilton Amex Business Card has a $95 annual fee and waives foreign transaction fees. You’ll earn 12x points at Hilton properties; 6x on wireless services purchased directly from US service providers and on US purchases for shipping, at US restaurants, on flights booked directly with airlines and through Amex Travel and on car rentals booked directly through select rental car companies; and 3x on everything else. You’ll earn a free weekend night after spending $15,000 on the card in a calendar year and another after spending an additional $45,000 in the same year (a total of $60,000). Other benefits include complimentary Hilton Gold status, extended warranty and purchase protection.
Based on our latest valuations, 100,000 Hilton Honors points are worth $600. Luckily, earning the full 100k bonus doesn’t require meeting an insanely high spending requirement — a total of $4,000 is still lower than what you’ll need to spend to earn other top business card sign-up bonuses.
