Take advantage of this excellent fare and do a mini Tier Point run to a new city or even a country you’ve never been to before. If you’re new to the game, Tier Points are a British Airways currency, which help you to progress through the levels of the airline’s elite membership programme.

For as little as £209, you can fly return from Heathrow (LHR) to Sofia (SOF) or Helsinki (HEL), or from Gatwick (LGW) to Tirana (TIA) in BA’s Club Europe — earning you a hefty 160 Tier Points. What’s that worth? For example, you are required to earn a total of 600 Tier Points (or fly 50 eligible flights) to earn British Airways Silver status (Oneworld Sapphire status), which means that with this one trip, you would be one-quarter of the way to earning the status.

The fares are available throughout November. Helsinki (HEL) is also showing as available in October. To book, head to Google Flights and change the settings to business class. Next, set the departure airport as London and the arrival destination as the city of your choice — Helsinki (HEL), Sofia (SOF) or Tirana (TIA). Then, all you need to do is scroll through the calendar until you find a suitable set of dates for you. Finally, head to the British Airways website to complete your booking.
