British Airways has launched a January sale, advertising one-way fares to European destinations from just £40 one-way. The sale sees a total of 350,000 BA seats at discounted prices, so act fast if you’re hoping to get one of the cheapest.

Included as part of this sale are itineraries from both London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick (LGW) to a number of destinations all over Europe. The BA site advertises one-way fares from £24, though keep in mind that if you do some searching of your own, you might find itineraries for even cheaper.

Keep in mind that these are BA’s Economy Basic fares, meaning that you’ll only be allowed to take hand baggage. We have several tips for packing that might be useful if you’re planning on getting away for a long weekend with only hand luggage.

To search for these fares, head to British Airways’ dedicated sale page. From there, you’ll be able to see the routes that are included, as well as the travel period for each destination.
