British Airways and BA Holidays have launched a new sale for September travel and there are some excellent bargains to be found.

With most amber destinations now essentially green if you’re fully vaccinated, there are a lot more options for a late summer holiday, when you’re likely to find fewer crowds and lower prices than during the August school holiday peak period.

Follow The Points Guy on Facebook and Twitter, and to ensure you never miss anything, subscribe to our daily newsletter.

Also remember, for any Executive Club members travelling between 9 June and 30 September 2021, who have booked a package holiday through BA Holidays of at least five nights, they’ll earn double Tier Points for the flights taken as part of the package holiday.

BA has European flights only from just £30 each way to various destinations in Spain, Italy and Greece including:

  • Lanzarote (ACE);
  • Menorca (MAH);
  • Pula (PUY);
  • Crete (HER);
  • Tenerife (TFS); and
  • Corfu (CFU).

If you’d like to add accommodation to your Europe flights there are seven nights in three-star accommodation plus flights to Corfu (CFU), Tenerife (TFS), Mallorca (PMI), Kos (KOS) and Faro (FAO) from £199 per person, based on two people travelling together for travel 13 – 30 September 2021.

For something a little more exotic, there are excellent BA Holidays prices to the Caribbean for travel from 1 – 30 September 2021. The best deal is seven nights in beautiful Barbados (BGI) including World Traveller economy return flights from only £499 per person – this is one of the cheapest Carribean package deals we have ever seen.

Considering flights alone to the Caribbean can easily be £500+ per person your accommodation is essentially free.

There’s also seven-night package deals to St Lucia (UVF) from £549 and Grenada (GND) from £599 per person, based on two people sharing three-star accommodation.

If you’d prefer to travel in more comfort, there’s return Club World flights with seven nights four-star hotels to Barbados or St Lucia from £1,699 for September travel.

BA Holidays can be great value and you can often find flights and hotels bundled together for a similar price to buying the flights separately, meaning your accommodation can be either free or very cheap. Even outside of these Tier Point promotions, it’s always a good idea to check the BA Holidays price with the added accommodation against just the flights sold separately – you may be pleasantly surprised by the packaged price.

All BA Holidays are also ATOL protected which gives additional peace of mind during a year of so much uncertainty. You can cancel any BA Holiday up to 21 days in advance for a voucher for the full amount, or change your booking for no charge, though a fare difference may apply for your new dates.

BA Holiday packages can be secured with deposits from £60 per person, with the final balance due up to three weeks before travel.

The offers are available to book until 3 August for European destinations and 9 August 2021 for Caribbean destinations, for travel until 30 September.
