The best way to find the right fares and dates is by heading straight to the Ryanair website. It has a very easy-to-use calendar to help you find the cheapest fares. Flexibility is key for this one, as the super cheap fares are only available on certain dates. Once you’ve got the perfect dates and prices for you, all you need to do is book.

Portugal’s Algarve is a hot spot for tourism, with Albufeira, Faro and Lagos being three of the top spots for Brits. From surfing and clubbing to amazing coffee and cheap food, the Algarve has it all.

Flying into Faro gives you the perfect opportunity to explore the whole of the Algarve, as the airport is pretty much in the middle. There are so many beautiful, off-the-beaten-track coastal towns where the Portuguese like to take their holidays. So, if you’re looking for something a little different and more authentic, hire a car and take a drive east to Olhão or Tavira. Tavira Island is a great place to escape it all and is only accessible by boat. If you’d rather take the train, there’s a very retro yet reliable train service that runs the length of the Algarve. It’s cheap but very slow compared to driving.

Note that these fares are Ryanair’s lowest and therefore do not include checked luggage.
