Editor’s note: The team at The Points Guy loves to travel, but now is not the time for unnecessary trips. Health officials note that the fastest way to return to normalcy is to stop coming in contact with others. That includes ceasing travel. We are publishing travel deals because we should all use this time to think about and plan our next adventures. TPG doesn’t advise booking trips for travel until later this year — and even then be mindful of cancellation policies.

TAP Air Portugal is offering cheaper-than-usual fares from London to Cape Town. You can fly from London to the gorgeous coastal city of Cape Town from just £375 return. The deal is for travel between November 2020 and March 2021, meaning it could be a good escape during the dreary British winter, transporting you to the summer South African sun.

Because the flights are operated by TAP Air Portugal, you’ll have to stop in either Lisbon or Porto in both directions. Keep in mind, however, that TAP offers a stopover programme, which could allow you to see an additional destination along the way.

To book these fares, head to Google Flights and enter London as your departure point and Cape Town as your destination. Scroll through the calendar function to find dates and prices that work best for you. Finally, click through to book directly with the airline.
