Editor’s note: The team at The Points Guy loves to travel, but now is not the time for unnecessary trips. Health officials note that the fastest way to return to normalcy is to stop coming in contact with others. That includes ceasing travel. We are publishing travel deals because we should all use this time to think about and plan our next adventures. TPG doesn’t advise booking trips for travel until the late spring or early summer — and even then be mindful of cancellation policies.

We won’t be getting our passports out any time soon, but we’re seeing more and more travel deals for the end of this year and into early 2021. Looking even as far forward as February half-term 2021, there are return flights with Virgin Atlantic to Miami and Orlando from just £246 return.

The fare is available from November 2020 through to early March 2021. Remember, these are Virgin’s lowest Economy Light fares, which means checked luggage isn’t included. Upgrading to Economy Classic is £90 each way and gives you a checked bag, the ability to choose your seat at any time and the ability to upgrade your ticket with Flying Club miles.
