Virgin Atlantic has steadily been restoring service to the Caribbean from both London Heathrow (LHR) as well as Manchester Airports (MAN). The airline has also been introducing new, seasonal services from Edinburgh (EDI).

From 6 November 2021, Virgin Atlantic will fly direct from Manchester to Montego Bay in Jamaica (MBJ), using their Airbus A330 aircraft with economy, premium and Upper-Class cabins.

While it’s normal to see great deals on economy fares on new routes, it’s less common to see cheap prices on business-class flights.

As first reported by Turning Left For Less, right now you can book Virgin Atlantic Upper Class fares between Manchester and Jamaica nonstop in Upper Class for as low as £948 per person, return for departures in November and December 2021. That’s an incredible price for this route.

Direct flights with Virgin Atlantic are only three times weekly, with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in both directions with the best prices to be found with the direct flights. You may also find low fares returning on other dates with a connection in the United States flying Delta. Just note that, at this time, you will not be permitted to transfer flights in the United States if you have been in the United Kingdom in the past 14 days.

The seat maps for these flights suggest they will feature the older herringbone seats as also found on Virgin’s 787 and (now retired) A340 aircraft.

As well as a lie-flat bed with direct aisle access, in Upper Class you can expect:

  • A generous baggage allowance of two 32kg bags per passenger
  • Free seat selection
  • Priority check-in
  • Priority security
  • Lounge access in the 1903 Lounge at the new Manchester Airport (Remember, the opening date of the new Manchester Clubhouse is still unconfirmed)
  • Priority boarding
  • A la carte multicourse dining with Champagne and wine
  • At least 18,000 Virgin Points, which reduces the price even further.

These amazing prices are unlikely to last so if you want to take advantage of this very comfortable way to escape the U.K. winter and soak up some gorgeous Caribbean sunshine this winter, you can book directly with Virgin Atlantic now — and don’t forget to pay with your Virgin Atlantic credit card.
