Milan is a splendid city in which to spend a few days exploring, shopping and eating. Ryanair is offering return flights from London throughout December and January for £20 return — that’s cheaper than a pub lunch. Flights arrive in either Bergamo or Malpensa, which are both quite some distance from the city. If you want the quickest route to the city, the airport train shuttle from Malpensa will get you into Milan slightly quicker than than Bergamo’s equivalent.

There are several Christmas markets dotted around the city throughout December, which aligns perfect with these flights.

Click here to head to Ryanair’s website and enter Stansted (STN) as your departure city and Milan (BGY/MXP) as your arrival destination. Then, all you need to do is use the built-in price comparison to find the best fares and dates for you. Act fast, as there are only a few seats left on many of the flights.

Remember, Ryanair’s lowest fares don’t include a checked bag. But, if you’re clever with your packing, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Don’t forget: flying low cost doesn’t mean you have to have a low-cost experience. Check out our guide on how to upgrade your low-cost experience.
