1. 25,000 bonus Flying Club miles with the Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card

Earn up to 25,000 bonus Flying Club miles if you apply for the Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Mastercard before 28 February 2020 after meeting minimum spend. You’ll get 15,000 miles after making your first card purchase within 90 days of account opening.

Limited-time offer: You’ll get an additional 10,000 miles if you sign-up and are approved by 28 February 2020, and then spend £3,000 within the first 90 days. The maximum 25,000 miles are worth £300 based on our valuation of Flying Club miles.

With this card, you’ll earn an impressive 1.5 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles per £1 spent on everyday purchases and 3 Flying Club miles per £1 spent with Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays. You’ll also unlock a Virgin Atlantic reward after spending £10,000 annually. Options vary, depending on the level of status you have with Flying Club. The value of the Virgin Atlantic reward is highest if you’re a Flying Club Gold member, where you can effectively get a companion voucher on any redemption flight in any cabin of service.

Representative example and annual fee: This card has a representative APR of 63.9% variable, and a purchase rate of 22.9% variable with an assumed credit limit of £1,200. There is an annual fee of £160.

2. Exclusive TPG UK offer: Get 15,000 Avios or £150 cashback with the Capital on Tap Business Rewards Card

If you’ve been considering applying for a business credit card, here’s some great news. For a limited-time only, Capital on Tap is offering an increased sign-up bonus for its Capital on Tap Business Rewards Card.

The card usually comes with a welcome bonus of 10,000 Capital on Tap points, which can then be converted to 10,000 Avios, £100 cashback or a combination of both.

Limited-time offer: Until 29 February 2020, Capital on Tap is offering TPG U.K. readers a special offer — 15,000 Capital on Tap points for new cardholders. These points can be then converted to 15,000 Avios, £150 cashback or a combination of both.

You can read our full review of the Capital on Tap Business Rewards Card here. This card comes with an annual fee of £99, payable in the first and subsequent years. Among its most beneficial perks is that it comes with no ATM or foreign transaction fees, making it one of the only rewards credit cards in the U.K. that doesn’t charge such fees, which could save your business cash.

To take advantage of this special offer, all you need to do is enter the promo code thepointsguy during the application process. If you’re approved for the card, meet the minimum spending requirement of £5,000 within the first three months after being approved for the card, you’ll get the 15,000 Capital on Tap points.

You can apply for the card here.

3. Cheap Flying Club miles with 40% bonus miles

Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club offers a unique way to increase your balance by allowing you to pay an extra fee to earn many more miles on your next flights. And right now, the bonus offer allows you to effectively purchase Flying Club miles for a price far less than at which TPG U.K. values them.

Called Miles Booster, you can choose from a:

  • Single booster and pay to earn an extra Flying Club mile for each mile that you fly on a Virgin Atlantic flight for an extra 1p per mile;
  • Double booster for 2 Flying Club miles for each mile flown for an extra 2p per 2 miles; or
  • Triple booster for 3 Flying Club miles for each mile flown for 3p per 3 miles.

If your return Virgin flight to New York is 7,000 miles flown, a Single booster would earn you an additional 7,000 Flying Club miles, while the Double booster would increase this an additional 14,000 miles, and Triple by an additional 21,000 miles. This is all in addition to the miles you would normally earn for the flight, and any status bonuses applicable.

Limited-time offer: Until 8 March 2020, you will receive an additional 20% miles for purchasing a Single booster, 30% for a Double booster and a whopping 40% for a Triple booster on top of the normal offer. This reduces the price to well below 1p per mile — in the case of the Triple booster, with the 40% bonus the price to purchase these miles drops down to around 0.7p per mile, which is an amazing value given TPG U.K. values these at 1.2p each.

4. Earn up to double Avios — or more — on British Airways eStore purchases

Aside from signing up for a credit card and receiving a chunk of points or earning Avios through flying, shopping portals are one of the best and easiest ways to rack up points fast.

Limited-time offer: British Airways is offering up to double Avios — and sometimes more — on purchases at some retailers through its online shopping portal, the eStore.

To be eligible, you must be a member of the British Airways Executive Club. The offer for up to double Avios — and sometimes more — ends 8 March. To take advantage, head to the eStore, where you will be asked to sign in using your BA Executive Club membership number. Once in the portal, make sure all purchases are made directly through the page that opens after clicking on the retailer of your choice.

For example, with the bonus on Harvey Nichols purchases — 14 Avios per pound spent — a £1,000 purchase would net you 14,000 Avios, which are worth £154 based on TPG U.K.’s most recent valuations.

Some of the best offers include: Harvey Nichols (14 Avios/£1 — up from 6), Elemis (12 Avios/£1 — up from 7), Selfridges (12 Avios/£1 — up from 6), H&M (10 Avios/£1 — up from 5), MR PORTER (9 Avios/£1 — up from 6), John Lewis (4 Avios/£ — up from 2) and more.

Terms and conditions state that if items are cancelled or returned, Avios will not be awarded. The offer applies to participating retailers only — be sure to check before you buy.
