The best Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals for 2019

We’re not upset that the U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday madness is well and truly established in the U.K. It can be tough to sift through the quagmire of offers, but we’re here to help. We have pulled together a list of major airline, hotel and other travel-related sales and promotions for the coming week.

Virgin is joining this year’s Cyber Monday madness with a very unique offer. For today (Monday) only there will be a limited number of Economy Delight tickets for £1!
If you’d like to treat yourself to something a bit more luxurious, then there are also some crazily low Upper Class fares to Boston from £925.
Head to Virgin Atlantic to book before it’s too late.
While we haven’t been wowed by the prices showing on Qatar’s Cyber Monday sale, booking a trip to off-the-beaten track destinations like Sialkot, Dhaka and Mombasa have the potential to earn you valuable Avios and Tier Points. Fares in economy start from £429 return and in business class from £1,629 — lower that what is advertised on the website.
Crazy deals launch on Friday with Air China and could be the juiciest deals we see this weekend. Business class fares to incredible destinations like Bangkok, Tokyo, Hanoi and Singapore are as low as £950.
Deals from London may start as low as £1,280.
A £25 discount is available on Lufthansa tickets by using the code ZB9AIJTCD31C at checkout.
You need to book your trip between 29 November and 2 December 2019 and travel between 6 January and 29 May 2020.
The Etihad sale runs until 2 December 2019 and you can travel up until 30 June 2020.
Some lead in prices include Abu Dhabi in business class from £1,411 (economy from £311) and Bangkok in business class from £1,947 (economy from £410).
Over the Black Friday weekend, Air New Zealand is offering 100 return fares on its fifth-freedom route from London Heathrow (LHR) to Los Angeles (LAX) for just £179 return.
The deal went live on the airline’s website at 10:00 a.m. on 29 November. This is a a great chance to jump on this route before it ends for good on 24 October 2020.
There are some fantastic fares on flights from London, especially in business class, like Xi’an for as little as £1,298.
Virgin unlocks new flights deals every day of its sale at midnight. Tuesday saw 20% off Caribbean flights and £100 off Caribbean flight and hotel bookings. We saw return flights to Antigua for as little as £440 and throw in seven nights accommodation while utilising the discount code shown on the site and the total price is as little as £799.
Ryanair is likely to heavily discount its flights across Black Friday week. Keep your eyes peeled on the site, and check back here. We will have our ears to the ground to find the best deals. We are already seeing flights to Vienna for as cheap as a fiver.
British Airways has launched its sale today (Thursday). Book before 3 December.
Some stand out deals to look for include:
- Club Suites to Toronto (YYZ) for £1,595 return
- Return Club Europe flights to destinations like Prague (PRG), Vienna (VIE) and Munich (MUC) for under £200 return
- Heavily-reduced economy flights to destinations like Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Las Vegas (LAS) starting from £297 return.

Up to 25% discounts are being offered across the whole Air Italy network in their 6 day campaign which ends on 2 December.
I found direct business class flights from just £1,137 from Milan Malpensa (MXP) to New York Kennedy (JFK) for many 2020 dates.
We haven’t uncovered any incredibly exciting fares yet in the Qatar Black Friday sale, but £1,750 for business class return from Manchester (MAN) to both Hong Kong (HKG) and Singapore (SIN). These tickets would earn a nice chunk of Avios and 560 Tier Points to boot.
The online travel agent is offering discounts of up to 60% on selected hotels. The discounts launch on 29 November at 9:00 a.m.
Discounts of up to 30% are available with Hilton across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Super luxury hotels like the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE are available for as little as £125 per night.
ebookers has up to 60% off hotels and an 15% off promo codes waiting for you.
Until 3 December Radisson is offering discounts of up to 30% on weekend stays globally, with available weekends varying by region. You will also earn 3000 bonus Radisson points on all days between 6 April and 19 April 2020.
TUI has some crazy cheap offers available. The cheapest deal available is £156 for seven nights in Benidorm including flights from Birmingham. While that specific deal may not appeal to you there may be lots of others in there that will.
There are codes available on the website to discount a booking even further:
- BLK100 — Save £100 when you spend £1000
- BLK125 — Save £125 when you spend £2000
- BLK150 — Save £150 when you spend £3000
