British Airways is inching closer to the launch of its first Airbus A350. While the carrier is scheduled to take delivery of its first A350 later this summer, it’s been teasing the aircraft’s entry into service.
On Monday, British Airways’ PR Instagram page posted a video its first A350, which we’ve already seen in full livery, in the paint shop.

The aircraft shown, which is registered as G-XWBA will be the first to be delivered to BA. As of this point, BA is still maintaining that it will be delivered later this summer, though an exact date has not been set. That said, we do know that the first route for the aircraft will be between London (LHR) and Madrid (MAD).
Inside the aircraft, you can expect BA’s highly anticipated Club Suite product. If you’d rather fly G-XWBA long-haul, BA will launch A350 service long-haul on 1 October between LHR and Toronto (YYZ), and from 7 October between LHR and Dubai (DXB).
