Here’s a handy offer if you have an Amazon Prime membership: You can now receive Deliveroo Plus at no extra cost.

Deliveroo Plus gives you free delivery at any restaurant or takeaway when you spend £25 or more on any order. This is a saving of £3.49 per month, or more than £40 per year.

If you have the Preferred Rewards Gold Card from American Express U.K., don’t forget you earn £10 in Deliveroo credits each month you have the card, in the way of a £5 credit on two orders per month.

If you’re making two £25 orders of your favourite takeaway each month and have activated this free Deliveroo Plus offer, you could be saving upwards of £15 per month, depending on the standard delivery costs of your favourite delivery charges.

The Preferred Rewards Gold Card from American Express U.K. remains one of our favourite cards for beginners.

If you apply for and are approved for the Preferred Rewards Gold Card, as an eligible new cardholder, you’ll earn a huge 20,000 Membership Rewards points after spending £3,000 on the card in the first three months. Based on TPG U.K.’s monthly valuation of Membership Rewards points, that welcome bonus is worth £280, which is a great deal considering there is no annual fee for the first year.

Membership Rewards points are a transferable currency, meaning you can convert them into various other loyalty programme currencies. Many conversions are at an easy 1 to 1 ratio to programmes like British Airways Executive Club or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

So, 1,000 Membership Rewards points can be converted to 1,000 Avios or Virgin Points.
