American Express has introduced a number of new offers to cardholders of the Gold Business Charge Card to both reward their loyalty and help keep their businesses moving during this uncertain time.
Top of the list is the new Amex “Business Bundle”, which will provide a £20 statement credit for each purchase of £20 or more with O2 Business, Google Store, Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse.
The £20 rebate will be awarded up to five times, for five separate transactions between now and 31 December 2020, so cardholders can receive £100 in total.
Up next is a 40% statement credit offer on a Dropbox online purchase, up to £50 back between now and 28 November 2020. This credit is only paid once. If your business is need of some new technical hardware, there’s also a 10% statement credit for each purchase cardholders make with Dell Technologies until 1 September 2020. The 10% credit applies for each purchase up to a generous £1,000 total credit.
There’s no need to register for these three offers — you can start using them immediately.
Don’t forget that this business card is also eligible for the Amex Shop Small promotion. This is a great way to support small businesses and be rewarded at the same time. Until 13 September, Gold Business cardholders can receive a £5 statement credit when they spend £10 or more in a single transaction at a small business participating in the Shop Small programme. You can use this offer up to 10 times (once per merchant), receiving a total of £50 in credits.
Once the purchase has been made, the statement credit should appear on your account within five days of qualified spending, but may take up to 90 days from the end of the offer period. Any misuse of these offers, including cancellation or refunds, may result in the credit being reversed.
For those businesses that instead hold the Business Platinum Card, remember all Business Platinum cardholders with an account renewal between 1 January and 31 December 2020 will be eligible for a one-time £250 statement credit. The credit will be applied to the eligible account after card renewal, meaning you’ll have to pay the £595 annual fee before you can get the £250 statement credit. Amex has also offered Business Platinum cardholders additional incentives in the form of statement credits.
