Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to relaunch its direct service from Manchester to Bangladesh in January 2020.

The service is set to resume on 4 January 2020, as reported by RoutesOnline. The thrice weekly service will operate on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from Manchester. Biman will fly the service on a triangle routing: Dhaka to Manchester to Sylhet to Dhaka. The flight will operate on the following schedule:

  • BG007 Dhaka (DAC) 12:30 p.m. Departure ⇒ Manchester (MAN) 6:00 p.m. Arrival
  • BG208 Manchester (MAN) 8:00 p.m. Departure ⇒ Sylhet (ZYL) 12:00 p.m. (+1) Arrival
  • BG402 Sylhet (ZYL) 7:30 p.m. Departure ⇒ Dhaka (DAC) 8:15 p.m. Arrival

Biman is set to operate the route using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in a two-class configuration. In business class, you can expect 24 seats a 2-2-2 layout. Because of the configuration, the seats, which are Stelia Aerospace’s Equinox 3D seat, do not feature direct aisle access for all passengers.
