Flybe extends Heathrow to Guernsey route to operate year-round

You’ll now be able to fly from Heathrow to Guernsey with Flybe on a year-round basis. As reported by RoutesOnline, the regional carrier will extend its once-seasonal service between London and Guernsey to a year-round offering.
The route, which is typically suspended for the winter season, will continue to operate beyond 27 October and through next year on a daily basis. It’ll operate on the following schedule:
- BE2196 London (LHR) 4:35 p.m. Departure ⇒ Guernsey (GCI) 5:40 p.m. Arrival
- BE2195 Guernsey (GCI) 1:45 p.m. Departure ⇒ London (LHR) 2:50 p.m. Arrival
Flybe will continue to operate the route with one of the its Dash8-Q400 aircraft. The flight, which covers just 170 miles, according to gcmap.com, is slotted at one hour and five minutes on both the outbound and return legs.
Additionally, Flybe will continue operating its nonstop route between London Southend (SEN) and GCI. Regional carrier Aurigny operates year-round nonstop service from London Gatwick (LGW) and London Stansted (STN) to GCI with several daily frequencies.
