And just like that, the shortest month of the year is over, which means the end of TPG U.K.’s focus on France and all things cheese, baguettes and amour.
Here’s a recap of what we covered, just in case you missed it:
Paris is just across the water and there are many ways to get there including by using those all-important points and miles. British Airways can offer big savings with Reward Flight Savers, but there are also low-cost options from all over the U.K. as well as the train to Paris and Southern France.
Fancy yourself as a bit of a film buff? Then see how many of these visit famous spots from nine different films that feature Paris!
Paris is the perfect city for a cheeky weekend away, or 48-hours if you’re counting. With so much to see and do, we’ve put together a guide to help you make the most of a short trip to the French capital.
The main aim of our game — if you hadn’t guessed it yet — is points and miles. So, here are some of our favourite French points hotels that you might want to consider checking out for your next trip.
If you’re new to the game and don’t have a hefty stash of points to spend, then we’ve got a selection of beautiful unique and boutique hotels to get stuck into.
Having lived in France, I like to think I have pretty good knowledge of the place. But, yet again, thanks to you, our readers, I learned a lot from the inundation of top tips which we’ve shared for you all to see.
If you’re frequent France visitor, or equally if you’ve never been before, we thought we’d highlight some of our favourite, lesser-known places across the country to give you some inspiration for your next voyage.
If you’re more island-life than city slicker, then there are some incredible islands dotted around the French coast for you to try out — some of which you’ve probably never even heard of.
Love was well and truly in the air in February at TPG. With Valentine’s Day and a focus on France, we got all lovey-dovey and reached out to our TPG Facebook Lounge group to see if we could uncover any love stories that were successful with a little help from aviation.
And finally, it wouldn’t be France month without a post on the country’s national airline. Our resident foodie spills the beans on what you can expect to eat on board.
Et voilà, c’est ca! We hope you’ll have learnt something new that you’ll be able to include on your next trip to our neighbour across the Channel.
This month we’re hopping across the Irish Sea to the Emerald Isle — stay tuned throughout the month of March to learn a thing or two about Ireland and maybe find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow…
