Lauda now flying from Vienna to 3 new U.K. cities

Austrian low-cost carrier Lauda has announced it will start routes from its hub in Vienna to three U.K. cities including Birmingham (BHX), Edinburgh (EDI) and Liverpool (LPL). The routes will be operated by either A320 or A321 aircraft.

The addition of the routes means a new non-stop destination for Edinburgh and Liverpool while Birmingham is already served by Austrian on the Vienna route. Tickets are already available for purchase and start as low as £30 return from each of the cities.

Flights to Birmingham, the U.K.’s second city, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on the following schedule:

  • Vienna (VIE) 5:05 p.m. Departure ⇒ Birmingham (BHX) 6:30 p.m. Arrival
  • Birmingham (BHX) 7:05 p.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 10:20 p.m. Arrival

Flights to and from Edinburgh will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at different times, depending on the day:

Tuesday:

  • Vienna (VIE) 6:40 a.m. Departure ⇒ Edinburgh (EDI) 8:20 a.m. Arrival
  • Edinburgh (EDI) 8:50 a.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 12:20 p.m. Arrival

Thursday:

  • Vienna (VIE) 4:20 p.m. Departure ⇒ Edinburgh (EDI) 6 p.m. Arrival
  • Edinburgh (EDI) 6:30 p.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 10:05 p.m. Arrival

Sunday:

  • Vienna (VIE) 4:50 p.m. Departure ⇒ Edinburgh (EDI) 6:30 p.m. Arrival
  • Edinburgh (EDI) 6:55 p.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 10:30 p.m. Arrival

Meanwhile, flights to Liverpool will operate on Mondays and Fridays.

  • Vienna (VIE) 5 p.m. Departure ⇒ Liverpool (LPL) 6:35 p.m. Arrival
  • Liverpool (LPL) 7:05 p.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 10:25 p.m. Arrival
  • Vienna (VIE) 5:05 p.m. Departure ⇒ Liverpool (LPL) 6:40 p.m. Arrival
  • Liverpool (LPL) 7 p.m. Departure ⇒ Vienna (VIE) 10:20 p.m. Arrival
