FlyBosnia is introducing the UK’s only direct flight to Sarajevo (SJJ), the capital city of the Balkan state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As reported by RoutesOnline, the airline will operate three return flights per week from London Luton (LTN) on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning on 24 September.

The new flight will operate on the following schedule:

  • 6W106 London Luton (LTN) 9:45am Departure ⇒ Sarajevo (SJJ) 1:15pm Arrival
  • 6W105 Sarajevo (SJJ) 7:15am Departure ⇒ London Luton (LTN) 8:45am Arrival

To book flights to Bosnia, head to the FlyBosnia website — the flights are not yet loaded on third-party sites, such as Google Flights or Skyscanner. One-way fares on the route are showing for as little as £19.

London’s Luton Airport is quite an important hub for flights to Eastern Europe, with Wizz Air already operating direct flights to dozens of destinations in countries such as Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania and Serbia.
