School has started (in many places), football season is almost here, pumpkin spice flavors are back at Starbucks and a global World of Hyatt promotion has arrived to officially usher in the fall season! Beginning on September 1, World of Hyatt members can to earn up to 60,000 bonus World of Hyatt points for eligible nights spent at any Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide, as well as at participating MGM Resort properties in Las Vegas.
This new World of Hyatt promotion will begin on September 1 and run through November 30, 2018. To be eligible, you must register between August 29 and October 15, 2018 (registration link will be active beginning at 10am Eastern on Aug. 29).
Bonus World of Hyatt points are earned based on the cumulative number of nights you spend at Hyatt and MGM properties during the bonus period, in increments of five, 10, 20, 30 and 40 nights. Only the room occupied by the World of Hyatt member counts towards the bonus, but both paid and award stays are eligible as long as the paid rate is eligible for earning World of Hyatt points (i.e. not booked through an ineligible third-party site). Stays at Oasis homes and Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties are not eligible for this promotion.

|Nights||Bonus Points Earned||Total Bonus Points Earned|
Obviously, the more nights you spend, the higher your average bonus per night. For example, at just five eligible nights, you get an average of 500 bonus points per night. At 40 eligible nights, you get an average of 1,500 bonus World of Hyatt points per night.
Maxing out the promotion would earn you 60,000 bonus World of Hyatt nights, enough for two nights at one of the top-tier Category 7 Hyatt properties such as the Park Hyatt New York or Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, or up to 12 nights at one of their Category 1 properties.
This new Hyatt promotion is not the only current bonus available from Hyatt. World of Hyatt Credit Card members can get 10% of their redeemed World of Hyatt points back until September 30. Additionally, Hyatt just launched a promotion that allows you to double-dip and earn both World of Hyatt and M Life Tier points at any Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotel between now and October 14, 2018.
TPG values World of Hyatt points at 1.8 cents each, making the full 60,000-point bonus worth $1,080 if you max out the promotion. If you’re planning any Hyatt paid or award stays this fall, certainly take the time to register once the link is active tomorrow. This promotion is not the richest we have ever seen from Hyatt, but some bonus points are better than no bonus points.
