43,000 Avios for opening a Barclays Premier account

To open a Barclays Premier Banking account, you will need an income of £75,000+ or at least £100,000 saved or invested with Barclays.

That’s the hard bit, the easy bit is watching the Avios roll in. Currently, you will earn a 25,000 Avios sign-up bonus, plus at least 1,500 Avios per month thereafter (at a cost of £12 a month). So in your first year alone, you could collect 43,000 Avios – enough for a return flight for a beach weekend away in Valencia, or a trip to Faro.

There is a bank of other ways to build on that through taking out a mortgage, life cover or home cover with Barclays. And if you’ve already been with Barclays for four months or more, you’ll get 2,500 Avios to sweeten the move.

Barclays is the only bank through which you can earn Avios. For more details, visit the website.
