As first reported by Head for Points, in order for your stay to be eligible for this Summer Staycation promotion, you must book before 29 August. Additionally, there is a two-night minimum stay required, though there is no need to register for the promotion.
While the U.K. FCO still advises against all non-essential international travel, there are reports that the government is lifting that restriction as soon as 6 July. This week, the government is expected to announce that it will lift restrictions on travel to some low- and medium-risk countries. That’s where this deal could be interesting.
For example, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice, France, is pricing at 584 euro (about £533) for a two-night stay in August. For the stay, you’ll get a 50 euro credit along with free breakfast for each of the two days.
As another example, you could book at the Radisson Blue Hotel, Marrakech Carre Eden in Morocco for MAD 2,257 (about £189) for two nights. The stay — which much less expensive than the Nice, France example — will still come with the 50 euro property credit as well as daily breakfast.
Before booking, ensure that the property you’re interested in booking is one that is participating in the Summer Staycation promo in order to make sure you’re able to take advantage of all its benefits.
Thankfully, with this Summer Staycation promo, you can cancel for free up to 48 hours prior to arrival. This is the kind of flexible booking policy TPG recommends looking for at this time. A lot can change between now and your date of travel, so it’s best to have the flexibility to change your travel plans if you no longer feel comfortable travelling — or are no longer able to because of government restrictions.
