If you are heading to or from London Heathrow airport (LHR) this Bank Holiday weekend, the Piccadilly line is not operating between Hammersmith, Heathrow Airport Terminals and Uxbridge all Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 25-27 2019.
The Piccadilly line is usually the most affordable way to get to Heathrow airport from Central London, but for the entire three day weekend period, TfL has announced that coaches services will replace rail services as follows:
- For Heathrow Terminal 2/3 passengers, passengers should board a Coach C bus from Hammersmith by following the orange signs
- For Heathrow Terminal 5 passengers, passengers should board a Coach B bus from Hammersmith by following the green signs
- For Heathrow Terminal 4 passengers, passengers should board the Coach C bus from Hammersmith to Terminals 2/3 by following the orange signs and then take a free connecting bus or train (i.e. Heathrow Express) service to Terminal 4.
The same applies in reverse for those passengers and others arriving from Heathrow airport this weekend and travelling to Hammersmith and beyond to Central London.
Both the Heathrow Express, and other TfL rail services will operate as normal over the long weekend period.
