Wizz Air have introduced a new service for its passengers: Auto Check-In, but it will cost you.

The service means passengers will not have to worry about checking-in before the given deadline. Up to 10 passengers on the same booking will benefit from being checked in automatically. Boarding passes for bookings of less than 10 passengers will be automatically created and sent to each person on the booking. For groups larger than 10, boarding passes will not be sent automatically and will need to be downloaded individually by each passenger. Check-in begins as much as 30 days before departure.

To benefit from the the service, it must be added to each passenger’s booking.

The airline is advertising the service as an add-on during booking. The only way to do this currently is by paying for a “Wizz Plus” ticket which offers 12 different benefits and can be as much as four-times the price of the airline’s “Basic” ticket.
