This is one hotel where you’re not going to want to request to be on the top floor to get the best views.

After a decade of renovations, the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland will be opening its doors on Dec. 1. Located on a deserted quarry pit in the southwestern part of the city, it plunges 300 feet below ground, and even showcases a waterfall through the middle of it. If we didn’t know any better, we’d almost think it looks fake:

The luxury resort will offer 18 stories, complete with 337 rooms and suites, and you’ll be able to see the aforementioned waterfall from the rounded balconies on the first 16 floors.

As for the other two floors? Well, they’re totally submerged underwater in a 33-foot deep aquarium, according to USA Today. So yes, your dreams of being a mermaid when you grow up are finally coming true.
